Rules of Play 

To help foster player age-appropriate skill development and a positive and enjoyable on-court experience for the youth, West U YBL has created rules of play for 2nd-3rd grade teams and 4th-6th grade teams, respectively. 

 

See below for detailed rules and standards. Please be mindful that: 

  • The playing rules and standards are used as guidelines and recommendations for those leading basketball competitions. 

  • West U YBL will utilize these playing rules and standards in all events and competitions we host.
